2. Question: How to best clean it?
Answer: Wipe the car seat cover down with a damp towel or vacuum. And machine washable but it is not suggested too often, it probably damage the waterproof layer.

The back of seating part of this seat cover is beige with anti slip silicone so there is no dark color under the seating part. But anti slip silicone may dye absorption from dark color. Please don't use the seat cover on dark color car seat then on light color seat to avoid dye transfer.
